The model 111 pressure gauges are based on the proven Bourdon tube measuring system. The deflection of the Bourdon tube is transmitted to a movement and indicated.
The modular design enables a multitude of combinations of case materials, process connections, nominal sizes and scale ranges. Due to the high variance, the instrument is suitable for use in a wide range of applications within industry.
For mounting in control panels, the pressure gauges can, depending on the process connection, be fitted with a surface mounting flange or with a triangular profile ring and mounting bracket.
The standard version of the model 111 is manufactured, cost-optimised on modern production lines, in volumes of several million instruments per year.
Compact version, NS 40 [1 ½”], 50 [2″] and 63 [2 ½”]
The compact model 131.11 Bourdon tube pressure gauge is constructed with a case and wetted parts from stainless steel.
The modular design enables a multitude of combinations of process connections, nominal sizes and scale ranges. Due to this high variance, the instrument is suitable for use in a wide range of applications within industry.
The instrument is frequently used as a failure alarm indicator on gas cylinders. With its compact design and moderate purchase costs, the pressure gauge also qualifies for machine-building and plant-construction applications.
Due to the use of high-quality stainless steel materials and its robust design, the instrument is suitable for liquid and gaseous media, also in aggressive environments.
For mounting in control panels, the pressure gauges can be fitted with a surface mounting flange or with a triangular profile ring and mounting bracket.
For the process industry, standard version, NS 63 [2 ½”], 100 [4″] and 160 [6″]
This high-quality Bourdon tube pressure gauge has been designed especially for the process industry.
The use of high-quality stainless steel materials and the robust design are geared to applications in the chemical and process engineering industries. Thus the instrument is suitable for liquid and gaseous media, also in aggressive environments.
Scale ranges of 0 … 0.6 to 0 … 1,600 bar [0 … 10 to 0 … 20,000 psi] ensure the measuring ranges required for a wide variety of applications.
WIKA manufactures and qualifies the pressure gauge in accordance with the standards EN 837-1 and ASME B40.100. As a safety function, this instrument has a blow-out device with blow-out plug on the back of the case. In the event of a failure, overpressure can escape there.
The model 233.50 with liquid-filled case is suitable for high dynamic pressure loads and vibrations.
Stainless steel case, case filling, NS 50 [2″], 63 [2 ½”] and 100 [4″]
The liquid-filled model 213.53 mechanical Bourdon tube pressure gauge is constructed with a case from stainless steel and wetted parts from copper alloy.
WIKA manufactures and qualifies the pressure gauge in accordance with the standards EN 837-1 and ASME B40.100. As a safety function, this instrument has a blow-out device. In the event of a failure, overpressure can escape there.
Due to the case filling, the pressure element and movement are efficiently damped. Therefore, these instruments are particularly suited to measuring locations with high dynamic loads, such as fast load cycles or vibrations.
The cases of the model 213.53 are available in nominal sizes of 50 [2″], 63 [2 ½”] and 100 [4″] and fulfil IP65 ingress protection. With an accuracy of up to class 1.0, this pressure gauge is suitable for a wide range of applications in industry.
For mounting in control panels, the pressure gauges with a back mount process connection can be fitted with a mounting flange or with a triangular profile ring and mounting bracket.
The field-proven model A-10 pressure transmitter (pressure sensor) is the all-rounder for pressure measurement in industrial environments. Compactly built, it can be integrated into a wide range of machine designs. The many measuring ranges, and special measuring ranges, contribute to its universal applicability.
The pressure transmitters of the IS-3 series have been specifically designed for the highest industrial requirements in hazardous areas and feature the common approvals, such as ATEX, IECEx, FM and CSA.
The model IS-3 pressure transmitter is available with measuring ranges up to 6,000 bar and is suitable for applications ranging from general machine building to high-pressure applications.
Design
All wetted parts are manufactured from stainless steel and are fully welded. Internal sealing elements are completely avoided, so that the unit can be used with almost all media. The robust case is also made of stainless steel and provides a minimum ingress protection of IP65. IP68 versions are also available.
The process connections with flush diaphragm are particularly suitable for the measurement of viscous and contaminated media and ensure trouble-free pressure measurement at all times.
The optional field case of the model IS-3 enables operation in extreme environmental conditions and is resistant to acids, bases, oils and solvents. Via the field case connection integrated into the case’s head, the electrical cabling can be installed quickly and easily.
The PSM-550 is used in industrial control, monitoring and alarm applications. The instrument can switch electrical loads of up to AC 230 V, 10 A. The PSM-550 pressure switch offers many application possibilities with non-corrosive media like oil, water and air.
Reference:
The PSD-4 electronic pressure switch is the universal solution for industrial automation tasks – also in hygienic applications and under harsh conditions. Due to an accuracy of < ±0.5 % and minimal long-term drift, it permanently ensures an accurate representation of the process pressure for more than 100 million load cycles. The pressure switch is available with a digital output signal as well as a switchable and scalable analogue output. In addition, it can also be easily monitored via the self-diagnostics.
With its 4 … 20 mA, 4 … 20 mA HART®, PROFIBUS® PA or FOUNDATION Fieldbus™ output signals, combined with either intrinsic safety or flameproof enclosure ignition protection type (in accordance with ATEX and IECEx), the model IPT-2x is ideally suited to applications with the highest demands on the measurement technology.
Versatile in application
As a result of the available measuring ranges of 0 … 0.1 bar to 0 … 4,000 bar [0 … 0.15 to 0 … 60,000 psi] and a freely selectable turndown, the instrument can be used in almost any application. The large number of process connections and the extensive possibilities offered by the metallic measuring cell enable use in all industries.
There are seven different case variants available, and thus it is possible to select a variant suited to every operating environment.
The case itself can be rotated through 330° and is available in plastic, aluminium and stainless steel.
An electropolished stainless steel case (316L) is available to meet the high demands of the food and pharmaceutical industries. Easy configuration and operation
Service and configuration at the instrument is carried out using the optional display and operating module, which can be fitted in four positions. The operating menu has a simple and self-explanatory structure and has nine selectable languages as standard. Alternatively, the operating parameters can be set using the PACTware™ free and non-proprietary configuration software. An instrument specific DTM enables easy integration into corresponding process control systems.
Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, circuits need to be switched, the model PGS23.063 switchGAUGE finds its use. Switch contacts (electrical alarm contacts) make or break circuits dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instruments. The instrument pointer (actual value pointer) moves freely across the entire scale range, independent of the setting. The set pointer can be adjusted using a removable adjustment key in the window. Switch contacts consisting of several contacts can also be set to a single set point. Contact actuation is made when the actual value pointer travels beyond or below the desired set point.
The pressure gauge is manufactured in accordance with DIN 16085 and fulfils all requirements of the relevant standards (EN 837-1) and regulations for the on-site display of the working pressure of pressure vessels. As switch contacts, magnetic snap-action contacts, reed switches, inductive contacts and electronic contacts are available. Inductive contacts can be used in hazardous areas. For triggering programmable logic controllers (PLC), electronic contacts and reed switches can be used.
