Type A – Aluminum Camlock Fitting

• Aluminum Type A  Cam and Groove Adapter
• Male Adapter x Female NPT Thread

Type A Adapters are normally used with Type-D couplers of the same size,

However, they are also used with Type-B  and Type-C couplers of the same size.

They can be sealed off with a Type-DC (Dust Cap) of identical size.

Description:

The Type A is a Male Adapter x Female NPT Thread.

How To Use:

• To connect, slide the Type A Adapter into a Female Coupler and then simultaneously close the two cam handles.
• To disconnect, lift up the cam handles and uncouple the two fittings.

To Install:

• Thread the Female NPT portion onto a Male NPT Thread.
• Will connect with:
• The adapter portion will couple with a Female Coupler.
• The thread will connect to a Male NPT Thread. (National Pipe Thread)

Used for:

• Installing a Male Cam & Groove onto a Male NPT Thread.
• Connecting with a Female Coupler of identical size.

Sizes:

• This Aluminum Adapter is offered in sizes starting from 1/2″ all the way up to 8″.

Type B – Aluminum Camlock Fitting

• Type B Coupler – Aluminum Cam and Groove
• Female Coupler x Male NPT Thread

Type B couplers are normally used with Type F adapters, but can be used with Type A and Type E adapters and Type DP (Dust Plug) of identical size.

How To Use:

• To connect, slide the Type B Coupler onto a Male Adapter and then simultaneously close the two cam handles.
• To disconnect, lift up the cam handles and uncouple the two fittings.

Type C – Aluminum Cam Locks

Type C couplers are normally used with Type E adapters but can also be used with Type A and F adapters and DP (Dust Plug) of identical size.

How To Use:

• To connect, slide the Type C Coupler onto a Male Adapter and then simultaneously close the two cam handles.
• To disconnect, lift up the cam handles and uncouple the two fittings.

To Install:

• Insert the Hose Barb into a Hose and fasten it in place with a crimp collar or hose clamp.

Will Connect with:

• The coupler portion will couple with a Male Adapter.
• The Hose Shank will insert into to a Hose.

• To disconnect, lift up the cam handles and uncouple the two fittings.

To Install:

• Slide the Female Cam & Groove Dust Cap onto a Male Adapter and then close the two cam arms.

Will Connect with:

• The coupler portion will couple with a Male Adapter.

• Installing a Female Cam & Groove End Cap onto a Male Adapter to prevent dust and contaminates from entering.
